Academic Updates:

Math
Between all the fun events this week we did get some time to continue to review math skills taught throughout the year. Students completed parts of the end-of-year assessment. This information will be shared with 5th grade teachers so they can plan and design instruction for the fall to support student needs.

Theme
We had a guest speaker, Stacey Carlson, on Wednesday, who talked about skeletal and muscular system.  Students also took their final quiz today on the skeletal system.  Dr. Asherman will visit the Mayberry class on Friday, June 10th.
Next week students will get a chance to have some input into some final science activities (engineering, kitchen chemistry, etc).  We will also take the end of the year spelling review and reflection.
