I hope this post finds you enjoying the last days of summer vacation, though I hope you're optimistic -- like me -- about the start of the new school year. I'm excited to see you all again next week and hear about your vacation!
Summer is my favorite season; I love the heat and the sun and the free time! One of my favorite things to do during the summer is to read. I've also been camping and have spent a lot of time with my family at Sandy Point near Belfast. Some of the best times are just sitting out on the deck and watching my kids play. I'm hoping to get in another beach day or two before we see each other on September 2nd!

Tomorrow, Wednesday 12:00-3:00, is an opportunity for you to come to room 206 at GMS 4-5 and check out the classroom, drop off your supplies, and see where your locker is. (Check our class web page at this link if you've lost your list and haven't yet gotten a copy from a friend: https://sites.google.com/a/msad51.org/mcfarland/). I have put up charts on the board to show you how to sort your materials. And if you can't make it tomorrow, just bring your materials on the first day.
